(60) Steer calves – Springfield & Yon Angus genetics, sired by Yon Angus bulls, these steer calves were weaned, weighed and vaccinated on 8-15, 8-20, 8-26 averaged 611.96#, vaccinated (3) times with Bovi-Shield Gold FP5L5, (2) shots Ultra Choice 7, dewormed with Dectomax, non-implanted, being feed 2% of their body weight daily of 16% protein feed & dry hay, a projected weigh gain of 1 ½# per day, calves given last shots & EID 15th September, and dewormed at the same time – in other words when they walk off the truck at their new home, all they will need is feed in the bunk & clean fresh water, estimated weight on 10-24-25 – 711#, calves will be sold in trailer load lot, @ farm & weighed on truck sales. Steers to be moved within 2 weeks from sale date. Stocker steers in the past have graded 40% Choice, 60% Prime on the rail. –

Also selling (23) Angus based bred heifers, bred to Yon Angus bulls M740 & M670, , bulls put in February 18th, taken out June 2nd , due to start calving November 27th , averaged 1175# on 8-15-25.

(9) Angus based open cows, (1) Angus based bred cow.
All cattle will carry Springfield Angus & Yon Angus genetics.
Jim Stocker always said he was in the beef business producing a delicious product for the consumer off of forages. He picked the best bulls that he could find to build this program.
