(20) 1st calf heifers with October calf @ side - Angus, BWF, Simmental X, & St. Gertrudis X–these heifers were exposed to a calving ease Angus bull, medium to large frame cattle, short hair, easy going, at press time there were (16) black calves on ground that are mighty spiffy.
(52) Bred Heifers -Angus based heifers, bred to calving ease bulls, these heifers will calve @ 2-years of age with largest percentage of these heifers being Black, BWF & a few Smokes, & Red, (1) ½ blood Waygu, frame size 5 ¾, weigh approx. 1200#. All of these heifers are out of proven producers & have EID buttons, most of these should start calving week after sale with some calving winter & early spring, sold with a guarantee to have a live calf. The criteria for E. B. & Shane keeping heifers back as we keep most of the colored heifers – we can breed them to black bull & get black calves.
11-month-old commercial bull & 2-year old Angus X commercial bull that are out of dams on the sale, sired by forage bull that is 2/3 body, 1/3 legs, fly resistant, easy disposition, they will sire calves that will perform well on forages, sire black calves.
!! Extra!! (10) ½ blood Wagyu open heifers from the 2023 calf weaning crop, average 600#, double vaccinated, all natural, sired by Wagyu bull that E.B. bought out of Texas.
Note: these heifers & bulls were selected from 550 head+ group, the sibling mates of heifers have performed excellent @ the feed yard with big percentage going into CAB & grading Choice or better.
PROVEN Jr. MATRONS coming w/6th calf– Selling (38 ) head of proven jr. matrons. This is our entire herd of cows that are ‘16 year models, due to calve November & December, M & L frame cattle, average weight 1375# & have produced a calf every year in the same time frame- consist of Angus, Angus X, Red Angus, Blue & Red Roan, Simmental X, Senepol X, P & P. All have excellent udders, good feet, lots of depth & spring in the rib to handle forages, cows sold with a guarantee to have a live calf, all have EID buttons. For the past 5 years every one of these cows had a calf, got up & protected it from the coyotes – this proves they are protected mothers.
All cattle on annual vaccination Pyramid 5 program, cattle will have EID buttons. Cattle have been kept electric fence, some have been exposed to a one-strand electric poly wire.
KEEP ‘EM KIND – E. B. will again offer the KEEP ‘EM KIND option on his cattle. At buyer’s option, E. B. will offer to purchase first offspring of his cattle at this sale – steers will carry a $25.00 premium and heifers will carry a $50.00 premium above weekly livestock market average. Calves need to be weaned between six to nine months of age & follow a program similar to BQA requirements. Listen carefully sale day– E.B. could annuity up some more.

Methods of Payment Accepted: Checks with prior approval, cash or wire transfer. Wire transfer must be received by the auction company within 48 hours of the auction & will be an extra fee of $25.00. Credit Cards are NOT accepted and only used as a verification tool. Please contact the auction company for wire transfer instructions. Sales tax will be collected unless we have on file a completed sales tax exempt form E595E on file.
