1 st Calf Heifers

(76) fall calving Angus, Angus Simmental X, Angus Gelbvieh X & Red Angus,   bred to easy   calving Angus bulls from Knoll Crest, Nutbush & Phelps Creek farms.   These heifers will calve @ 2-years of age with largest percentage of these heifers being Black, BWF & a few Smokes & Red, frame size 5 ¾ , weight 1075#.   All of these heifers are out of proven producers & EID, 7 of these heifers are RegisteredAngus, some will have calf @ side sale night, a handful of these heifers are bred for late winter & early spring calving.

BULLS

(10) yearling Angus & Simm Angus bulls, 5 of these will be Registered Angus bulls sired by herd sire OT3 & have been developed after weaning on fescue pasture, cotton seed, peanut skins & wheat mids.   Actually daily gains since weaning will be printed on sale order.   These bulls are smooth, thick, with plenty of volume & good disposition.   We have raised these bulls in a matter where they should go out bred cows & still work for the producer with a minimum amount of nutrition requirements other than grass, well balanced mineral ration & good fresh water.

PROVEN Jr. MATRONS – Selling (42) head of proven jr. matrons – 10 are Registered Angus –

This is our entire herd of   cows that are ’99 year models, all Angus based, due to calve November – January, M & L frame cattle, average weight 1350# & have produced a calf every year in the same time frame, have excellent udders, good feet, lots of depth & spring in the rib to handle forages, & have a good disposition.   Sold with a guarantee to have a live calf.   Registered cows are bred to OT3 herd sire.

JACKS

4-month old that should grow into a Mammoth size & a standard 3-year old jack.

Selling (5) registered Angus cows, all bred to OT3 son.

KEEP ‘EM KIND – E. B. will again offer the KEEP ‘EM KIND option on his cattle.   At buyer’s option, E. B. will purchase first offspring of his cattle at this sale – steers & purebred bulls will carry a $25.00 premium and heifers will carry a $50.00 premium above weekly livestock market average.   Calves need to be weaned between six to nine months of age & follow a program similar to Southeast Pride Blue Tag requirements.

Owner’s Note:   It again gives us great pleasure to be able to offer cattle that have proven themselves time after time to be good producers & we feel that they will continue to do the same for the new owners.   Please give a call if you have any questions.   With prior approval, if buyer would like, purchases can be paid for in 2008.

 

16-Point Star: Return on Your Investment – In 2004, a producer bought (4) 1st calf heifers off our sale, paid $1250 per head, sold 2 calf crops at average $610 per calf per year.  We sold those heifers that were mature cow last fall at his dispersal for $1825 per head.  Figure any way you want to, it looks like a good investment!!!
