Directions:  From I-85, take Exit 204, go south on Hwy. 96 for 1.1 mile, turn left on Fairport Rd., go 2.4 miles, right on Cannady  Mill Rd., sale ¼ mile on left @ Granville County Livestock Arena.  Also from jct. of Hwy. 96 & 56 @ Wilton, take Hwy. 96 north 2 miles, turn right on Cannady Mill  Rd., arena approx. 6 miles on right.  Watch for cattle auction arrows leading way to sale.

(31) Commercial Cows  consisting of (18) Angus, (3) BWF, (10) Charolais X , (2) Herefords, medium frame, weigh approx. 925#, middle age most being 7 years & younger, gentle, good udders & feet, there (20) late spring calves @ side so rest should be early fall calving or 3-n-1, been exposed back to (2) Angus bulls that will also sell on this auction.  Hereford cattle originated from McCoy – New Bern, NC, Charolais bloodline from Bill Rogerson – Robersonville, NC,  Angus bloodline came from Ike Jackson – Elizabeth City.  These cows have been on short grass, wintered only on hay & have done an excellent job.  If you are looking for a set forage cows for turnout, these will be the ones to take a look at.

Farm Equipment to follow cattle sale –

IH 1086, SN-25L0177U25031, powered by 131 hp 6-cyl. 4-speed w/hi-lo & TA, cab, ps, differential lock, (2) sets dual remote hydraulic outlets, 540 & 1000 shift-on-the-go pto, 11:00-16 front tires,20.8-38 rear tires, mechanically seems to run fine, good sound to engine, could use some TLC on cab & paint job, showing 7790 hrs.

Gleaner F combine, SN-FKS15618, 6-cyl. diesel, cab, air, ps, 18.4-26 front tires, has extra fan on top to help blow out the chaff, owner said it needs a raddle chain, been shed kept, best we can tell this machine may been made between the F & F3.

AC 13’ grain platform.

AC 435, 4-row corn head, 36” rows.

2009 Load Max 25’x102 flatbed gooseneck trailer, pop up rear platform w/folding ramps to make it flat on the back, 2 5/16 ball hitch, tandem axle, 16” tires, electric brake, midship lights, dove tail, tool box, nice trailer, sold new by Ervin Rigsbee.

Massey Ferguson 4×14 bottom plow, 3-pt.

1-row middle buster/potato plow mounted on 8’ 2 ½ x 2 ½ square solid tool bar, 3-pt.

Ford 12’ rotary cuter w/hydraulic  cylinder, 540 pto, pull type, owner told E.B the gear boxes are good.

300 gal. poly tank w/big fill top, mounted on 3-pt. carrier, ideal to add booms to make a good sprayer.

Northern Tool 30 gal. fuel tank w/battery operated pump, does work, all is good.

Approx. 150 bu. gravity flow grain wagon mounted on 5th wheel 4-wheel running gear.

(6) 6′ x 12′ x 16′ long creosote timber.

(12) 4′ x 8′ x 25′ pressure-treated timber.

Bucket mounting round bale spear, mounts on front end of loader bucket.
