(10) Angus based home raised bred heifers, sired by BWF & Ann Angus bulls, longevity & docility bred into them, will calve @ 2-yrs. of age, mostly Angus with a touch of Hereford, due to start calving January 1, bred to Smith Creek calving ease Angus bull, nice set of heifers that earn their keep off forages.

Hight Family Farms – Macon, NC

Herd 1 – (20) head consist of (6) ½ Angus 1/3 Jersey 3rd calvers, (9) Black cows, (2) BWF cows, (2) Red X cows, (1) Hereford cow, bred to Smith Creek Angus bull, due to calve February. These cattle are on the Frank Gupton Farm – Arcola, NC.

Herd 2 – (36)  head consist of  (24) Angus & BWF 2nd calvers, bred to Rock Hill Angus bull, due to calver March – April,  (10) Angus, (2) Angus Hereford X 3rd  calvers due to calve December – January, bred to Rock Hill Angus bull. These cattle are on the Utley Farm – Vaughan, NC.

Herd Sire – Reg. Angus bull –approx. 4-yrs. of age, Smith Creek Angus bloodline.

These are complete dispersals of these 2 herds of cattle for the Hight Family Farms so they devote more time to their row crops.  These cattle have made it during the grass growing time of the year on spring, summer & fall forages, winter time on hay.  In other words these cattle are easy keepers & very efficient producers.
