A Complete Dispersal of Registered Angus Cattle

(92) Registered Angus cows – 2nd calvers to mature cows, should start calving September 2017.

(19) Registered Angus bred heifers – should start calving September 2017

(4) Registered Angus cow/calf pairs.

(4) Registered Angus young bulls that have been used as clean up bulls.

(2) Registered Angus bulls, 18628068 sired by Sydgen Fate 2800 and 18628092 sired by KCF Bennett Fortress.

This herd started out with a small group of mature cows from some of the best Angus programs in the country to establish the foundation of our breeding herd.

  • The RITA 2 H 17 cow from the Wehrmann Program, and her outstanding daughter FC Rita 822 of our own program
  • The Helen 99 cow from the Gingerhill program in Virginia, and her FC 582 daughter, another excellent female of our own breeding.
  • And last, but definitely not least, the Ideal 020 cow, brought east from the Jorgensens in South Dakota. Her daughters and granddaughters have become the mainstay of the Faircrest Program.

These females were bred to the leading AI sires in the nation,  these cattle have been bred to adapt to humid hot southeastern states.  Each year the year the calf crop continues to improve as far as fertility, weight gains, & percentage of body weight weaned. Cattle have been on a regular vaccination program, high quality minerals, internal & external parasite control.  In the cool season grasses they graze fescue pasture, winter time wintered on hay that is harvested on the farm.

Our organization has been fortunate enough for the past 10 years to help Faircrest Angus market bulls & females through our cattle auctions.  These cattle have gone both in the purebred & commercial herds that have stood tall in each herd.  Here is an opportunity to come & add to your existing herd or start a new herd that will continue to produce seed stock for many generations.
